Habitat for Humanity (Central Arizona) is a non-profit ecumenical agency that strives to eliminate poverty/sub-standard housing. Through volunteer labor, monetary donations and materials, Habitat builds affordable houses with the help of the homeowner/partner families. St. Patrick Habitat for Humanity ministry joins other churches to work with families in the Phoenix area to build decent housing. Time commitment is to assist generally 1-2 Saturdays in the Fall or Spring, eight hours per day. Must be over 16 years old … all welcome from teens to seniors! On-site leadership provided; no tools or special skills necessary. Groups can provide lunch for build days.
