Advent Mission - ValLimar Jansen

Nationally recognized Catholic composer and inspirational speaker ValLimar Jansen will offer this year’s Advent Mission to the community of St. Patrick. The mission is Sunday, December 4th, at 6:45 pm. Blessed with an extraordinary voice, ValLimar brings the word of God to life through storytelling and song.

The Men’s Club will be hosting a free meal from “Habaneros” before the mission between the 5 pm mass and the mission concert. They will be serving from 5:30 to 6:30.  To help us with the dinner total, RSVP is appreciated but not necessary.  RSVP for dinner.

Speaker Bios

ValLimar Jansen is a highly regarded inspirational/catechetical speaker, singer, composer and recording artist. She is also a college professor, a leader of worship and prayer, and a workshop presenter at conferences across the US and abroad. ValLimar received most of her training in music and performance from Howard University in Washington, DC. She holds professional degrees in the arts from California State University, San Bernardino, and the University of California, Santa Barbara. She sings a broad range of styles from traditional to contemporary. In 2005, she released her first solo collection, You Gotta Move. Other collections include Anointing, Psalms from the Soul and Give God the Glory. ValLimar composes much of her music with the help of her husband, Frank. They live in California and have three children.
