This week we are so excited to have our children on campus for their annual Vacation Bible School Week for an opportunity to learn more about Jesus, and how we are called to be more like him. We are grateful to the parents and other parishioners who will be giving their time to make sure our children enjoy the week. On Sunday at the 10:30 Mass, our children will be called forth to sing for our community before the Mass. Our Church can always use great reminders that our faith continues to be handed down to each generation.
June 19-26 our campus will welcome Family Promise, an organization we have worked with for many years that helps transition families from experiencing homelessness towards a place of stability. Parishioners meet the families, provide wonderful meals and get to know the families. They will use our House of Mercy for their stay and will be also using our facilities.
I remind all parishioners that your giving throughout the summer allows St. Patrick to host these events and others by keeping up on the care of our buildings. With over 43 air conditioning units, along with the maintenance of our buildings, everyone’s gift to the community is important because it allows the ministry to continue. The needs of the people never take a summer break, and your giving meets this need.
The parish campus is always filled with life and ongoing fellowship.
Peace in Christ,
