Dear Friends,
Suzanne Gilbert, a parishioner, saw a need in 2020 when we moved confessions to the classrooms. The need was to have one or two people present to welcome, guide, and converse with those preparing for confession.
Suzanne is still offering to serve as Hospitality for those who come to confessions on Saturdays from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. Suzanne provides comfort to those who might be nervous or need to be assured that a guidance card is there for anyone needing extra help.
Over the years she has come to know the people who come to confessions and continually makes new connections every Saturday. The act of welcoming is for the greater good, rather than trying to go back to the small confessionals. Thank you Suzanne for offering true hospitality to those who come to know the beautiful mercy of God each week.
