GIVING TREE

The Giving Tree

The Giving Tree Program is a long-standing tradition at St. Patrick where we support different non-profit organizations throughout the valley by providing them with items the people they serve may need during the Christmas season.  Each year, for several weekends in November, parishioners are able to select ornaments off of our Giving Trees that indicate different items that are in need.  Parishioners then shop for these items and return the items to the parish with the ornament attached.

This year things are going to look a little different, but we still want to make every effort to help these organizations that rely on us each Christmas. Here’s how the Giving Tree will work this year:

1) Grab an Ornament:
Starting Sunday, November 22, we will have our physical Giving Trees with ornaments set up. They will be in the Narthex and out front of the church during both Communion and the two Masses on Sundays.  There will also be a Giving Tree out front of the church doors Monday-Friday from 8:00am – 6:00pm for anyone to come grab an ornament throughout the week.

2) Shop!
There are two simple ways to shop this year:

You will find on some ornaments that the organizations have made Amazon Wish lists. You will find the links to the wish lists below. Click on the link, find the item you’d like to purchase and when you are checking out, select the address of the organization (it should pop up). We’d like all physical gift to be directly sent to the organizations, rather than being dropped off at St. Patrick.

If organizations have not asked for an item on an Amazon Wish List, then they have requested Gift Cards.  You can purchase those gift cards, and return them (with the ornament attached!) to our gift card drop boxes.  You will find the gift card drop boxes out in front of the church on Sunday, November 29 and Sunday, December 6 during both Communion and the two Masses on Sundays.  During the week, you will find the gift card drop boxes just inside the parish office doors.  You can drop off your gift cards during normal business hours.

Thanks so much for participating in our Giving Tree Program this year!
